Every action has a equal and opposite reaction?

A case of molestation which led to victim's suicide... and the molester gets 6 months imprisonment and Rs 1000 fine - after 19 years

A 16 year old girl raped by 11 men, held captive for 3 days

A Phd student raped by her guide, who took pictures and made videos of her

Raped girl offered money to withdraw case

...and there's nothing we can do about all this?

Hai na, Politics join karenge, IAS/IPS banenge, etc etc.

Actually on a more serious note, drastic change is needed. Sad part is its in our hands and just sighing will not do it.

yaar...it's just so darn upsetting to read about rapes and molestations and the justice system not harshly punishing the perpetrator. There is so much stuff that needs to be taken care of in order to get rid of such news headlines. We, as women, need to stop being afraid of men because we might get raped or molested, stop setting boundaries for women to be outside after dark, why can't women be at railway stations and travel in public transport without being harassed? It's such a sensitive issue but even though it might sound crude, the fact that our culture gives too much value to a woman's pride is also a reason why rape is a resource that a lot of people use to manipulate women. You know how I feel about such a topic, I could write a book.

we can but nobody does!
it's such a sad state ..makes me want to scream!

picture this ..a ward boy rapes this nurse and leaves her blind and paralysed and he's arrested for robbing her off her jewellery and not for raping her? WTF

I know how u feel and how ever1 feels...but it has been happening over and over again. This system can't be changed the constitution is run by people elected by us.And you can't change them... the other options are even worse.

but say whatever ...

My Simple solution...

Go to a place where a human life is valued. Certainly that place is not our country.Go down memory lane you'll remember an experience we had in army controlled area.

wanna discuss...u know how to reach me.

take care.

the question is not whether you can do it. its whether you will.
knowing fully well that you are gonna be alone the moment you step into it.

No, nothing we can do about it.

Because everyone is in it together - the men, the power brokers, the politicians, the rich, the privileged, everyone that "matters".

the ones who are against it, dont matter anyway.

the only way to get back at them is by breaking the law (the only language that works) and in the process you remove the ONE difference that exists between those animals and yourself.

Devil and the deep sea.

I definitely want to read a bit more soon. BTW, rather good design your blog has, but don’t you think it should be changed once in a few months?
