precisely so!

"Perhaps I'm old and tired," he continued, "but I always think that the chances of finding out what really is going on are so absurdly remote that the only thing to do is to say hang the sense of it and just keep yourself occupied."

Hey rain girl, thanks for popping by my place; I enjoyed your comment of course, and thank you for the template-related compliment :) I dig your space here too! (the music's a very cool touch lah)

Re the Hitchhiker's quote ... isn't it funny how, when we begin to question ourselves, the validity of our dreams, our goals, etc., we revert to the "perhaps I'm old and tired" line. Implying that, as a badge of honour, we can use it to pretend to ourselves that we're making progress somehow? It makes me laugh sometimes.

Cheers :)

@ Ian... welcome here Ian. :) good to see you here, and thank you for the compliment for music and blog.

In regards to your thoughts about the quote, oh yes, absolutely. Being old and tired is like an excuse for so much. A little step seems huge then.

Take care.
